Cub Scouts are members of the worldwide family of scouts and are aged from 8 to 10½. They meet as a pack and the leader of the pack is called Akela, which comes from The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling. The Jungle book features in many Cub activities. For example all of the leaders are named after characters from The Jungle Book. You can see a list of leaders here.
Cubs take part in many activities throughout the year including water activities and camping.
